An introduction to the pipe organ for young musicians
What does it feel like to play an instrument with thousands of pipes? On Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Greater Huntsville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists invites young pianists to find out at Pedals, Pipes & Pizza, held at Huntsville First United Methodist Church.
This free program is designed for students ages 9–16 with some piano background. Participants will:
Watch and hear a live pipe organ demonstration
Go inside the organ case to see the pipes up close
